The Pick-Rocket is another toy "gun", which looks like a science-fiction brick.
It served as an experiment to see if making a plunger tube rectangular is feasible (spoiler: it doesn't work).
Yet, the main motivation for this project was the idea of the shape that came to my mind. I challenged myself into making this unusual Nerf gun.
I chose the name Pick-Rocket as quite punny and cute.
To prime and shoot the blaster, you pull on the blue Plexiglas rod until the trigger clicks in place. Then just press the latter to shoot the dart.
The priming is quite strong, as you're pulling on two springs, both arranged symmetrically along the blue rod.
The performance of the blaster isn't great because of its plunger being rectangular, meaning the O-ring leaks air.
Just like the name entails, you can this blaster in a cargo pocket.
