I have been a life-long fan of Dana Gleason, who is one of the most prolific pack makers in the outdoor industy. Dana's company's have included Kletterwerks, Dana Design, and Mystery Ranch. In 2012, I had the good fortune to collaborate with Dana and his crew on a limited run of backpacks for sale through the store I run (Wilderness Workshop). The bags sold for $180, and $220, respectively, and almost all went to Japan- lucky for me, they really dig this stuff.
