The logo is made up of 5 pillars, each one a stylistic representation of the human form hearkening back to African cultural art, as well as symbolising the 5 founding donors on the centre's governing board - Indorama Group, Olam International, Pacific International Lines, Tolaram Group and Wilmar International.
 
These 5 pillars together symbolises the amalgamation of the diverse African cultures and Singaporean investments in the continent - both of which are critical elements in the fostering of an integrated Africa-Singapore network.
