"David Shrigley" Printmaking

For this project, we had to select an artist, illustrator or designer whom we like, and create a series of prints about them. I chose the artist, illustrator and hilarious man, David Shrigley. As an exploration of the university print studio, we were asked to create three prints: an etching,a letterpress, and a linocut. I created a portrait of David Shrigley as an etching, a linocut based on a piece of his work, and a piece of letterpress in which I wanted to highlight why I appreciate his work.
