Design a app for a toy and action figure store

Design a app for a toy and action figure store
UX Design - Aug - Dec 2022
Project Overview
Facilitate the process of pre-sale of action figures, presenting a consistent and clear follow-up system, in addition to offering news from the world of collections and action figures. Our app will let users expand your information and purchasing options in the universe of action figures which will affect the purchasing process of users interested in putting together their collections. We will measure effectiveness by the number of buyers and the post-sales evaluation process.
My Contributions
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs.
User research: summary
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users of the app that I'm designing based on the users' needs.  A core user group identified through researchare adults and teenagers who collect action figures and have the habit of buying their products on the internet. The survey revealed a concern regarding the follow-up of pre-sale product acquisition and shipping.
User research: pain points
Pre-Sale: Concerns with the "pre-sale" purchase process with lack of information on time, production and shipping.

News: Absence of a news portal and news from the world of toys and action figures linked to a store.

User research: personas
Paper wireframes
Low-fidelity prototype
The user flow is based on creating an account in the app, as well as the process of searching for product categories (1 category) and the process of adding to the shopping cart and completing the purchase. Link
Usability study: findings
Mockups
After the first round of the usability study, it was important to understand the users' needs in order to provide a consistent app. In this image the search bar was inserted
In this image the account creation confirmation was inserted. The lack of confirmation was noticed by some users, leaving them unsure if the process had been successful or not.
Accessibility considerations
Takeaways
Impact:
App users were satisfied with the store's concept and functionality

One quote from peer feedback:
“The app has several positive points, adding news from this universe of collectibles is very cool. The specific pre-sale follow-up is something very interesting. I've been through discomforts in this purchase modality.”

What I learned:
Developing the app for the sale of action figures, I learned the complexity of developing a product when it is based on the user. The process is based on a careful structure to ensure efficiency and accessibility.
