Architectural idea for the area of Sønderbrogade 34-48, 8700 Horsens, with total plot area 6103 m2 is that keep the shape of building simple and clean. Because there are other apartments and a with church completed further down the street and primarily 2-3 stores height. Therefore our idea is to build 4-4 stores height house to get more sunlight. We can divided 48 apartments into 6 blocks by 4 floors in each of buildings. Was decided to use black concrete and white bricks for the façades to harmony with surrounding buildings especially Sønderbro Church. In order to get opportunities for more private atmosphere, so that we spread each type of apartment to Individual block which is can be individual apartment and more private atmosphere balconies.
Through the windows of the building and the preservation of free space around each of the blocks, daylight during the winter can come deeper in the apartment.
The main idea of floor plans is to mirror the apartment so that each apartment has same bathroom unit. We combine with 2 bedroom apartment and 1 bedroom apartment together .We have 2 special blocks which have skylight on the tops floor area for getting more light into apartment and also have one more private balcony
