Design an illustration promoting "Bloodfiremusic.com".
Brief: Create an illustration for the members of Bloodfire to print onto their tops in order to stand out at live event. The illustration must promote the groups website.
Observation: Malagraphic Designs knew the colour shceme for the Bloodfire was that of a flame (yellow orange and red). Creating an illustration that considered the overlapping colour in both fire and blood (red) could show wit and intelligence that would engage its audience.
Process: We produced a simple yet striking 2D illustration focussed primarily on advertising the url. Secondly, we played with the colours and had red blood drip into orange and yellow fire. The drip subtly highlighted the url. We discussed the piece with the printers and had it blown up and printed on several tops.
Outcome: All the member were happy and proud of the design. And wore the tops when performing on stage. They we commended by event organisers and fans alike and the their website visits increased after every show. The members loved the illustration so much that they went on the use it as a logo on their albums and mixtapes.
