Things often seem impossible, unattainable, or out of reach. Sometimes we feel too small and inadequate. This installation, depicting a stylized galaxy in which we live, symbolically inverts the ratio between the size of a human and the cosmos. Suddenly we no longer feel like small insignificant particles floating in space. The stars that symbolize aspirations and goals appear within arm’s reach.
The G’astronomic Vilnius installation is intended to celebrate Vilnius Gastronomy Week. There are many chefs all over the world who create true masterpieces in the kitchen but do not receive the internationally recognized Michelin rating. For this reason, Vilnius decided not to wait any longer and award its restaurants with real stars. It purchased and presented certificates of 3 actual stars.
