Micro Sans Type
For the other part of my final project, I decided to create letterforms from the bacteria that I had grown in Petri dishes at home.
Bacteria grown from samples of my kitchen sink, using a cotton swab to handwrite the letters. I tried experimenting with color and a stencil, but decided to leave the natural color and shapes of the bacteria colonies.
I decided to take colors from my poster design into creating type posters for my letters.
Final type posters. The type was created from vector drawings of the original photos of the bacteria in the Petri dishes.
