This is a vandal-resistant box that protects the electronics that make the touchless activation of the faucet possible. All screws and wall fixings are hidden, so it looks clean and tidy, while also making it harder for vandals to remove it quickly.
The technology creates an invisible sensing sphere that activates the tap from either side as soon as the user's hand comes within a 10cm sensing range.
The box is connected to a water source and a tap. The battery is stored in a separate box, so it can be easily replaced without opening the main tech box.
The PCB that makes the patented technology possible is encapsulated in a resin block embedded in the box.
All screws, including the wall-fixing screws, are concealed, making it harder for vandals to access them.
This product is designed to hold hot and cold water valves. The cap is in place when the product is suitable for cold water only.
