Match My Mood is a mobile application created to target the client’s specific demographic - young women from ages 21 to 27.  The app was developed for the Pinnacle Vodka cocktail tasting events.  Match my Mood mirrors popular online dating platforms and asks the guest, “How are you feeling?”  Based on the adjectives she checks, the app returns a list of matching cocktails.  The list is presented similarly to dating profiles complete with photo and humorous “dating headline”.  The guest selects the cocktail she is interested to view the drink’s full profile (recipe).  The guest can then share the recipe on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.  The tongue in cheek humor of the recipe’s profile encourages social re-sharing.
