Logo design - Shivani Centre, IIT Kanpur

Logo Design for Shivani Centre at IITK
Shivani Centre for Nurture and Reintegration of Hindi and Other Indian Languages is committed to serve as the focal point of providing a soft landing to the students of IIT Kanpur. Shivani Centre aims to actively engage with the IIT Kanpur students, arriving from remote locations, and provide language assistance.
The research involved in the logo design:
There are total 22 official languages in Indian Constitution. Since the Shivani Centre aims at actively engaging students from different locations and languages, I interviewed 6 people and got Shivani Centre written in 6 different languages.
Following is the handwritten Shivani Centre by the interviewees and rough wireframes of the logo.
Why I used three languages for the logo?
Space distribution of the logo
To keep it symmetrical
To represent the three languages on behalf of the other 22.
Why I used #BC1D1D in the logo?
Red is giving it a look of a stamp
Wavelength of red is greater than other visible colors which makes it attractive
