My First Animation
With my first animated clip, I immediately dove into storytelling. I meant to convey a strong message using metaphorical visuals and dramatic shots.
Story
Our protagonist, a headless figure(to symbolise how lost it is or feels) clad in a red jacket, heads down a dark, alluring alley. Once on this shady path, a spotlight falls onto the character. Spooked, it glances back to head out of the ally but sees that it is closed shut- there’s no going back once you step into the alley. The character will start running further into the alley with desperation as its gradually enlarging shadow(or guilt) turns into a monstrous being that consumes it.
