M R T Train Station Bench Design

The design of the bench was purposed and made on the 31 July as a part of a competition that was held by MRT Corp. It is considered to be a standalone form of public art/installation, as it is located in a public space and may be experienced by a wide range of people. The range of the artwork is open to the public and accessible to all generations. Public art refers to artwork that is displayed in public spaces, such as streets, parks, or public buildings, and is often intended to engage the public and enhance the visual character of the surrounding environment.
It is also a form of functional art or design, as it serves a practical purpose (providing a place for people to sit and rest) while also incorporating aesthetic elements.
