Climate change induced by Greenhouse gases has been a big challenge for the world. In order to create awareness about Carbon footprint at our individual level, I am happy to announce that coinciding with the New Year, Esri India is making a citizen app called ‘CarbonAware’ and ‘Carbon Jagruk’ in Hindi, available from today. This app calculates the carbon footprint and suggests some ways to reduce it. Through this app we will also collect some aggregated data which can be analyzed and shared with the local administrations.
