It was a spectacular fall 2022 season down in the Dixie National Forest in Utah, along scenic Highway 12 from Torrey to Escalante. I meant to pass through on my way to do some slot canyon visits along Hole in the Wall road near Escalante but I ended up spending most of a day idling along the Highway and a further day exploring the colors along Hells Backbone Road.
