For this assignment I was assigned to select a Bible verse from the book of Proverbs and create it use a variety of different fonts, sizes, and eventually add color to the final product. I decided to choose Proverbs 16:3 for the text, which says, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed."
Thumbnails
For the thumbnails I tried to keep in mind what the powerful words were in the text. "Lord" was definitely one of them so I played around with size and making it bold to really emphasize it.
Final
I had three favorites that I recreated in Illustrator. It is a diverse selection which made it fun to recreate. I played around with the structure and formatting of the text to match the font and overall vibe of the image.
