Montreux Jazz Festival poster competition invited artists to create a design inspired by their ideal vision of a post-Covid world.

We were asked to think about what we hope to see when everything starts to get back to normal.

Throughout this pandemic we have been forced to put the brakes on and live a much simpler life with less distractions. This has allowed us to reconnect with what’s around us. There seems to be a new found appreciation for the outdoors and gratitude for the beauty of the natural world. I would love this to continue post-pandemic.

For my poster I have warped trumpets and saxophones to symbolise elements of the natural world such as flowers or mushrooms.
