Brochure Project ARTS 222

Brochure Project for ARTS 222
This is the final project I made for my Intro to Graphic Design class at Liberty University. The prompt was to create a trifold brochure for a location of our choice. I chose to do The Great Barrier Reef primarily because of the colors I would be able to use. Like the poster project, I had a choice between using illustrations or photos. However, unlike the poster project, I decided to use photos this time. While I am happy with the inside of the brochure, I feel that the back and cover are missing something. This project was at the end of the semester, but I had to leave campus earlier than expected, so I was unable to receive critique from my peers. My mom said she liked it, though, so it's probably fine. The text comes from a website about the Great Barrier Reef, and the pictures come from various royalty-free photo websites. The colors are pulled from those pictures, my favorite being the orange used for the headings. It came from the clownfish on the cover.
