Pepsi at MetLife Stadium

Pepsi came to Petagram looking to design the fan experience of the Pepsi Gate at Metlife Stadium for the Super Bowl. Our team (Partner-in-charge, Michael Gericke) designed a dramatic new entrance featuring a super graphic 3 floors tall (approximately 140 feet wide), a pair of giant Pepsi bottles made of slices of Pepsi logo (approximately 40 feet wide and 8000lb each), as well as  various banners and wall graphics inside of stadium featuring Super Bowl and Pepsi products.

The super graphic is a melting pot of typographic phrases and football icons. It represents the “Voice of fans.” The giant bottle installations have the same silhouettes with Pepsi’s new bottles. I was originally inspired by the shape of the sound wave, the “silhouette" of Fan’s voices. Then simplified the shape, turned the “wave" into 3 Dimensional construction.  The model was built in SketchUp to study the angles, shapes and the relationship between the installations and the stadium space.
