Amaia Quesada's profile

Denona | Editorial design

Denona means "everyone's" in Basque.
It is an architecture and urbanism project ideated, developed and finalized by the architect Eneritz Trigueros Amantegi, for Durango, in the Basque Country, where the train that for many years has been crossing the town and therefore dividing it into two, has recently been moved underground.
Denona is a public space and cultural building that links the two sides of town, placed in a centric area that used to be occupied by the railways.

I have designed the logo and the layout for the project reports
Logo design process based on the top view of Denona building.
The polygonal shape comes the shape of the building and the line crossing it make reference to the railways that used to pass through this open space.
Blue is the colour of the Basque trains.
Aereal shape of the building and inspiration of the logo.

Clean and spacious layout, inspired by the identity of the building, its space and surroundings.
Bicolor: black and blue, keeping the project's reason-to-be.
