Rubbish... Photographic Essay

Rubbish... Photographic Essay
In year 12 at high school I was awarded an NZQA photography scholarship for my work about rubbish.
These photos are a snippet of my complete work. It shows the end use of a piece of rubbish but shows the beginning of its end-of-life life.
The piece of rubbish goes to the bin but blow out to the sea sometimes.
It gets caught in seaweed and swept back out to the ocean.
Slowly rubbish becomes the ocean until the ocean is more plastic than water.
Then instead of fish swimming in rubbish, we will be. Bringing about our own demise.
Death by plastic.
These photos show a world just made of rubbish.
