This is my first go at creating a production-ready 3D character using an entirely procedural workflow. It’s cool to finally see my work come to fruition using these powerful programs over the past three months. I used ZBrush to sculpt the mesh, Maya to retopologize, UV layout, and rig, XGen for the hair, Marvelous Designer for the dress, Mari for the skin projecting, Substance Painter for the skin texturing/coloration, Photoshop and Illustrator for additional design details and UV map editing, Blender for the feathers and leaves, and Arnold for the final render.
