The Client
GET is an EC Project funded by the European Union's Interreg IPA CBC economic and social development programme. Project GET responds to a common challenge of the cross border area (GR-AL), namely the cultural and historical heritage of the region that is not capitalised to its potential value in sustainable cross-border tourism.
My role
My task was to understand the CBC tourism market dynamic and create a mobile application that would improve the potential of tourism offer. In the app users could select to follow one of three predetermined routes or create new routes based on their own preferences. Users could also save planned routes and share them with friends and family.
Analysis
Drawing insights from the data collected during the research phase I was able to move from “what” users want/think/need to “why” they want/think/need it. During this phase, four user personas where created (Young & Senior Traveler, Tour Manager & Family with children) each with their own user stories.
