Girard Perregaux - Dive Watch Design
Girard Perregaux is a watch manufacturer over 230 years. As a big GP lover, I always think about my own watch design with GP elements.
For my personal project, I have designed a Girard-Perregaux dive watch that combines the brand's signature elegance with rugged durability. The watch features a stainless-steel case with a sapphire crystal, which is scratch-resistant and provides excellent visibility underwater. The dial is inspired by the deep blue of the ocean, with luminescent hands and hour markers for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions. The watch is powered by a reliable automatic movement and is water-resistant up to 300 meters.
I have incorporated a stainless-steel bracelet to complement the overall design. The bracelet features a comfortable and secure clasp that can withstand the rigors of diving and other water activities. The stainless-steel material is corrosion-resistant and durable, ensuring the watch can withstand the harsh conditions of underwater environments. The bracelet links are designed to provide flexibility and a snug fit on the wrist, allowing the wearer to move seamlessly between different activities without feeling weighed down.
Hands with deep diver square lollipop, 3+9 marks are inspired by Girard Perregaux bridge icon. Deep gradient blue concave dial with long shape date window at 6 o'clock. Date font is reference to Deep Driver signature 6, 9, 12 font style.
