TETÊ ARMCHAIR
DESIGN BY SERGIO RODRIGUES
This is an armchair designed by Sergio Rodrigues. He was a brazilian architect and also furniture designer in the last century.
I made this armchair entiraly in Blender 3.0 for the office where I'm working.
"Launched in 2013, the Tetê armchair is one of the last creations of the master Sergio Rodrigues. The original project dates from 1996, when only two prototypes were made, one of which served as the basis for finishing the current armchair. The designer liked to review and update his designs, as in a maturing look at the piece. This was also done with this piece, in collaboration with partner Fernando Mendes: the current Tetê became wider, lower and deeper. An extremely comfortable armchair, with loose cushions that “melt” when sitting.And as Sergio's products always carry a story, Tetê's is as follows: an uplifting Transcendental Meditation instructor, Sergio Rodrigues' sister, Maria Tereza, was delighted with the comfort of the armchair when testing it. That's why Sergio named the armchair after his sister."
