The Hand and Wrist Support device is designed to assist those with weakened hand grip and/or wrist strength, to hold and use everyday utensils. The device positions your hand in a comfortable and natural way making everyday tasks more comfortable and easy to do. The device can hold and assist with multiple items such as pencils, pens, brushes, forks and spoons. This design allows the user to hold these items without requiring hand grip or wrist strength. The base supports and secures the wrist, while the hand grip sits perfectly moulded in your the palm of your hand to easily support and control the utensil. The device comes in 3 sizes; small, medium, and large, to accommodate all users from young children to adults. The flexible polypropylene base wraps around the wrist and is easily secured by an adjustable Velcro strap. The hand grip is made of a malleable thermoplastic elastomer shell filled with sand. One simply wraps their hand around the grip, which can then be vacuum sealed it in place, for a more secure hold, with the included vacuum syringe device. This allows the user to customise its shape to fit their hand perfectly while they eat, write, draw, apply make-up, or paint.
