MARKETING STRATEGY FOR FASTNED

Marketing strategy to create loyal customers and to strenthening the brand position
Fastned is a Dutch company building a network of twohundred fast-charging stations for electric vehicles in the Netherlands. Fast-charging stations is essential for the introduction and spread of the electric vehicles. 
Fastned is a start-up and therefore has little budget for marketing, which asks for a creative approach. Besides promoting the brand, fast-charging of electric vehicles is still new and needs to be explained. 
 
I developed the initial stages of the marketing strategy, which covers:
- the different communication channels 
- campaigns, i.g. a day for customers, bloggers and Fastned-fans, video virals 
- implementation planning 2014 
 
Last year we have been coöperating with Mojo Concerts to look into possibities to introduce Fastned at Lowlands, a Dutch music festival with 55.000 visitors. We wanted to promote the Fastned stations by building our prototype at the festival. The canopy would provide the visitors shelter from the rain and sun and give the visitors green energy from the solar roof for their smartphones and hand-held-devices. This idea is shown by the images below.
