My body of work for the Uniwax textile design competition 2022, the theme was "Tradition and modernity", to express it My work translates from a point of view of African society the contrast that exists between the two entities, on the one hand we have the tradition with the human in its heart, it is a universe where the preservation, transmission and enrichment of codes and beliefs play an important role.
On the other hand, we have the city which represents modernity, it is a universe where humans who are only pawns pass unnoticed in the middle of all these skyscrapers and infrastructures which symbolize all the technological, social and scientific advances which give rhythm to the daily life of societies qualified as modern.
