For the Bold Engagement Project, I chose to work on the Health and Well-Being theme because I wanted to see why people attend on campus events and how it may affect their drive towards success.
If I were to do this project again, I would like to attend more events to ask students how they approach their well-being and what they can do to move forward towards individual success.
As a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, we have worked diligently to promote our organization at UTSA's BestFest and the Engineering Barbecue Cook-off while having fun in the process.
For my annotated bibliography, I focused on specific relationships between roles of a teacher and student on how they may affect each other's mental health and well-being. Research has also found that the adolescence is currently experiencing a global shift in their mental health and well-being due to many factors that have been accounted for in our vastly developing world.
Two of the main issues I faced during the Bold Engagement Project was time management and prioritization.
To move forward on my focus on health and well-being, I will continue to take advantage of the opportunities given to me and collaborate with the people who aim for success as much as I do.
