I reached Lake Baikal by train from Krasnoyarsk, after almost 24 hours of travel. It was raining cats and dogs but I didn't care because I had a long way to go.
Suddenly it stopped raining and the diffused light took over, erasing all the shadows and letting me dream in shades of blue.
A shy sunset breaks through the clouds but it's just a brief, colorful illusion.
There are still some shades of blue to discover before dusk.
It took a full day to go from turquoise to indigo. Seamless.
In the end, when the suitcases are already closed, the sun came out just to say hello or rather: goodbye.
