Developing a turbo system for a platform that wasn’t designed for one is always am immense undertaking. Working on this bi-turbo system for the Ford Mustang was no exception. Foresight is the keyword when it comes to conceptualizing and developing such upgrades.

 

Taking advantage of the Tech Exchange program with Ford, extensive OEM CAD data was aquired to lay out the system in the virtual environment. Maximizing the use of CAD saves time and cost, at the same time providing the opportunity to create a manufacturing-friendly component/product.

 

All components were developed with mass production in mind, keeping within tooling options and in-house capabilities of the client. A wide array of materials, processes and suppliers makes this system come together.
