A series of posters representing the unofficial languages that can be found in The Liberties and The Coombe (Dublin, Ireland). My idea was to portray this languages with stickers I found on these streets. Using these, and other extra elements, I showed the diversity of this area.
These posters were part of a publication made by NCAD Studio + Students with work done through the course in 2022. Through the publication we researched the use written language and symbols in a small section of the Liberties, portraying the language of shop fronts, posters, graffiti, stickers and signs and re-contextualizing and generating a new output from them, trying to understand how language influences people's perceptions of an area.
