Project 01 Brief

                                                 CREATIVE STRATEGIES

COMBINATION 

For this design I combined coffee cups and sunglasses. The purpose was to join two distinct or unconnected things and make them make some sense.

JUXTAPOSITION

For this one of juxtaposition, I created a cup on top a sugar cube on a coffee table.. The yellow cup is supposed to be the center of attention until the viewer realizes what it is on top of.

ISOLATION

On the isolation design, I followed the suggestions and went with more similar objects. I created a coffee table background and filled it with white roses and one cup of coffee. I like the romantique aspect of it with the heart shaped foam.

METAPHOR/SIMILE

For the metaphor I wanted to show the significance and the message and created a cocoa tree growing out of a plant using Photosho. I think it can be for a sustainability campaign.

PHYSICAL SHAPE SIMILARITY

For this image I got together to very different things that actually look alike. I wanted to approach links between seemingly unrelated things via their physical similarity.

CHANGE OF CONTEXT OR ENVIRONMENT

The lighthouse flows normally with the cup replacing the top part. I wanted  to contrast things with unusual or odd setting.

7. M ATERIAL  CHANGE, SWA P, OR FOCUS

On this design I will swaps it material property that we are accustomed to with another. The chosen color makes it look even more surreal which is what I was aiming for however to obtain a different desired feeling I would make it more realistic
