Pose Assignment: Frightened

This is Paul and his daughter Rue. Paul is a single father to his 4 year old, horror loving, daughter. He made the mistake of letting his daughter her pick out her own costume for Halloween and she has taken to wearing it at all times. Even at night. When poor Paul just wants to get a midnight snack and instead gets the fright of his life.

The Body:

Paul is a 32 year old man. He is 5'6 and weights 230 lbs. He has chestnut hair that only grows on his face, and with his trusty beard dye and oil at his side Paul keeps his beard looking luscious and youthful. He has a weakness for chocolate chip cookies, especially once the clock has struck 12 and his daughter is asleep. Paul loves to be comfortable, particularly when it comes to his sleep-ware. He has curated a collection of the softest flannel pants and perfectly work cotton shirts, that when combined with his fluffy pink slippers make the perfect pajama set. He is a patient and kind man, as well as a doting and loving father.

The Mind:

Paul, while he loves being a father - and adores his daughter - also loves his "me time". "Me time" consists of staying up past midnight, eating too many late night snacks and reading fantasy romance books on his kindle. For Paul, this night was just like any other. He was 75% through his latest ebook and was on his way to get a snack to celebrate reaching 200 pages. BUT! As Paul reached the kitchen he was attacked by a small demon! But not any small demon, oh no, but his very own daughter - decked out in her halloween mask. Paul went through several emotions including but not limited to: fear, anger, and humiliation. He just wanted to get enjoy his night time rituals, but instead he was getting jump-scared by a toddler.

The Pose:

I want the viewers eyes and minds to go on the journey WITH Paul as he is ambushed by his daughter. Paul in the leftmost pose is jumping into the air immediately after being startled by Rue. He instinctively goes to punch the threat but pulls back at realizing the creature is his own spawn. In the middle pose Paul is back on the ground but still shaken as his fear turns to anger for a split second, he is defensive and still unsure of what just happened. In the rightmost pose Paul has found his home on the floor as the adrenaline leaves him and he comes to terms with the fact that his daughter is a monster.
