Abstract Glyphs Composition Project
San-Serif and Serif Abstract Final Compositions
This simple and fun project consisted of creating two compositions using only letters and numbers. One composition needed to be in Neue Haas Grotesk Display Pro typeface, and the second one in Stempel Garamond LT Standard. Working with 5 to 8 glyphs and using only black and white, the compositions had to abstractly feature the anatomy and personality of the required typefaces.

Based on the sketches, I selected and digitized 3 compositions using Adobe Illustrator
The first step was to hand draw some ideas. Yet, I feel that not having enough space between the thumbnails, limited my creativity.

More clarity came after digitizing some of the sketches.
