A modern day belief "Every wine has its own glass" led to an inspirational search and study for a wine glass concept.
The initial search for a shape was focused on White Wine (Chardonnay,Viognier) and Sparkling Wine (Champagne) due to the color similarity and the contrast between the glassware that is specified for them in individual.
The idea for the concept was to create a blend between the glassware
under one form, where it's composed of having a bowl for each type of wine placed on different sides of the shape.

The champagne glass (flute) has a tall, narrow bowl. The bowl is designed to retain champagne's signature carbonation, by reducing the surface area at the opening of the bowl.
Chardonnay is best served slightly oxidized for it is a full flavored wine. The specifics for a chardonnay glass is a wide and shallow bowl.
The wine glass comes with a plate that is a coaster intended for hygiene purpose and as an accessory element.
The concept "Doublet" is a functional piece of glassware though it also serves as a decorative element and could be used as an advertising souvenir for the wine companies.
The idea behind with the mixture of the two wine glasses came from a vision of minimizing the space(that require two glasses) and thus creating an abstract concept design with an elegant and organic approach.
