SARRAIL RIDGE
Hiking up Sarrail Ridge in Kananaskis is a popular route as it offers stunning views of the lake below.
The hike we did was different as it was my first time hike with someone I met literally the day before. As creatives we seek other creatives who love to do the same things. The day before he reached out to me and asked if I wanted to meet up. Funny enough, I actually knew him a bit from his YouTube videos, and of course I said yes!
As soon as I landed from a trip across the country we had coffee and talked about what we loved and what our passions and goals were. Then spontaneously we decided to venture off on a sunrise hike the next morning.
It was a challenge on this one because although the haze from the wild fires made things look nice, it casted colors that were hard to work with in post-production.
