INDONESIAN TRADITIONAL CLOTHES
"Tikuluak Koto Gadang" is one type of "tikuluak" or "tangkuluak", the form of a scarf in Minangkabau traditional dress in Koto Gadang. This head covering is used by brides in wedding ceremonies. The material is made of velvet fabric.
This dress is usually combined with some accessories, such as crown, necklaces, and bracelets. The necklace accessories in this picture are called "ragi-rago" necklaces, and the bracelets is called "garobah" bracelets.

“Siraman” is one of some ceremonies of Javanese traditional weddings. Siraman represent physical and mental cleansing for the two brides who are getting married. This aims to clean up all negative things that are considered to interfere with the marriage and consent process.
