Naming

Borned from the Mayan language, the word ‘‘láak’inah’’ means companion. "Akina '' seeks to position itself as the best companion for Mexican dishes, as is a sauce for any regional menu in Mexico. “There is no dish without its faithful companion, salsa”

Branding

Inspired by the colors and shapes of traditional Mexican cuisine, a typographic logo was created that conveys originality to our brand, with legible letters in capital letters to communicate rigidity, adding squared-off finishes to represent commitment. Together with the red that incites the appetite, the yellow optimism and the blue reflects confidence in our brand.
