VITEEE Exam
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is VIT Entrance Exam for the B.Tech (VITEEE 2022) course in various streams conducted every year. Every year VITEE is conducted to enroll students for various undergraduate courses. The seat allotted to the students is on the basis of merit which is released by the university on the basis of marks scored by a candidate, the stream of choice is allotted to the candidate.
VIT Eligibility Criteria
VIT University is one of the finest universities with a lot of courses for the students. There is a VIT Vellore Eligibility Criteria that students must need to fulfill. Below are the criteria mentioned by the University for the Admission Process.
VIT Vellore Age Criteria:
Candidates must complete the minimum age requirement for the exam that is 17 years.
Applying candidates must have born on or after July 1, 1999.
Candidates must fill the DOB as mentioned in the High School certificate. The High school certificate required at the time of counseling as proof of their age.
VIT Vellore Educational Qualification:
Candidates need to appear in any of the below qualifying exams for the entrance test
Candidates must need to qualify for their 10+2 level exams organized by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Board.
Need to qualify their Intermediate or two years exam conducted by a recognized University or Board.
Only Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are eligible for VITEEE.
Candidates who have appeared for the +2 exam through different boards in the same academic year are not eligible to appear for VITEEE 2022.
VIT Vellore Qualifying Exam Marks & Subjects:
Candidates need to secure at least 60% in their 10+2 level with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
Candidates belonging to ST/SC categories and north-eastern/Jammu and Kashmir region must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB or PCM subjects.
Only students who have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for B.Tech programs.

VIT Vellore B.Tech Admission will be based on a valid VITEEE rank, students must need to qualify VITEEE Exam.
VIT BTech Admission, Students must have a valid JEE Main rank.
Admission in B.Des (Bachelor in Designing) candidate must have a valid score in UCEED.
VIT B.Arch. (Bachelor in Architecture) Admission is based on a valid NATA and must need to secure an impressive score.

Cutoff
VIT Vellore is the conducting VITEEE Exam every year for engineering candidates and is responsible for releasing VITEEE Cutoff. VIT Vellore Cutoff is the closing rank, based on rank candidates will get admissions at different Campuses of VIT. The Institute is not releasing the cutoff this year, candidates are advised to check the VITEEE Cutoff of Previous Years to get an idea about their chances of admissions. The cutoff will be calculated using various factors like total candidates who appeared for VITEEE, availability of seats, and other things related to the exam.

VIT will call the first 20,000 rank holders of VITEEE 2022 for Phase-1 of counseling. VIT University uses an equating methodology for calculating candidate’s marks. The candidates who need to score 118 or above will likely fall between the 1-250 rank range. It introduces an expert panel to decide the cutoff based on different factors.
