Ontdek Premium - Branding, Logo, and Packaging Design

Brief
Was asked to do the branding of a sub-brand of a F&B company that imports food and beverage from South Africa. The new sub-brand does premium gift sets and mainly sells its products during Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn festivals. Both are big events in the Chinese community. With a target audience that is willing to spend on premium products. It’s needed to look and feel high-end and premium.

Solution
After agreeing with the client, we have decided to use the Chinese name for the main part of the logo, since the main target audience is Chinese.
I have used traditional Chinese calligraphy as the logotype and made the English part as the stamp. A mixture of old and new.
"Ontdek" is South African for "explore". We choose imagery of discovery and exploration for the client to use as marketing materials, we used green and gold colours throughout the brand as it stands for fresh, exploration and premium
