Berlin Tempelhof Airport was one of the first airports in Berlin. The airport ceased operating in 2008 in the process of establishing Brandenburg Airport as the sole commercial airport for Berlin, hence it is a popular place for the residents to rest. It is quite an interesting place to be, as it is an interesting mixture of relics of the former airport, nature that reconquers the space and the general meditative silence of this place.
