The Brief: 

The company Douwe Egberts were looking for a advertising campaign to make their coffee brand more appealing to drink at home rather than the consumer go out for coffee in a shop. The campaign's target audience for this brief was a diverse age range of 18-35.

Approach:

From the initial brief, the company issued strict brand guidelines in relation to their logo to be adhered to on the final design solutions. Working to the design process of research, experimentation, development and final outcome, In this brief I took a more personal approach to make the coffee feel like an experience in directing the advertisements on a level which would communicate directly through type, motion, vibrant colours, emotional engagement, call to actions and page layout. From my research, with the coffee brand being Dutch, I researched into incorporating the heritage of the brand's roots, to do this I shaped the advertisements in line with the structure shapes of Dutch architecture to add meaning. As part of the outcome, I was able to capture film content using a DSLR camera and edit the footage including adding audio elements on Adobe Aftereffects to successfully create a video as part of the project outcome.
