Description – Instead of the earthbound Gaia, the space mother piece is based on the concept of mother nature and seeks to invoke the idea of a galaxy creator, a Space Mother! She wears a rococo-style ornamentation and has dark skin as a tribute to Maha Kali, a goddess of both creation and death. She harbours an old shell that belonged to a naturalist, representing the endless spiral of life.
