Theme : Cardiac arrest is the abrupt loss of heart function in a person who may or may not have diagnosed heart disease. The time and mode of death are unexpected. It occurs instantly or shortly after symptoms appear.

This work was in collaboration between two artists that vary both in style. One a vector Illustrator, and the other a Digital Artist in surreal imagery. With the subject of Cardiac Arrest, we joined the two styles to create a unique work that expressed the theme subject.

The creation of this work was thought through carefully. Diamond shape was based of the human heart, and having these diamonds half filled with blood, showed that it has lost and is loosing. The burst of red, allows this piece to really stand out.

We wanted this work to be subtle, but also stand out with its shape and composition. This piece has many glowing effects to give a vibe of it having some sort of soul, like a human being. Even though someone might be loosing their heart, they still have a soul.
