This is a poster i made for a competition by FESPA Norway association. Where the theme for the competition was: The Norwegian constitution´s 200 year anniversary.

 

I had no real idea what to make, only thinking of mountains when i first thought of the poster. The Poster it self could only have 3 colours aswell as the posters base colour (white), so i ended up using 2 colours overall. Red and Blue using all the colours in the Norwegian flag.

 

The first poster is my origian view on the poster, using soft gradiants to create a suddle effect on the whole picture.

After making the first version i found out that the kind of print they are gona use makes gradiants and so on pretty hard so i had to work around it. So for the final print verson i tried to make some kind of half tone/raster effect that some how imitates the gradiant effect to some degree. I am not realy that much fan of the outcome, but atleast it was something i could send in. So its better than nothing.

I didnt spend too much time on the process of making the poster, more i spendt the time on getting the idea to start with. Hope you all enjoy this piece of mine :)
