Apsara wanted to promote its 6B Drawing Pencils. The proposition was very clearly – Pencils with the darkest lead in the category. The objective was to make Apsara 6B Drawing Pencils the first choice for professional artists who use it frequently for their trade.

Nursery rhymes are a part of our primary education and are generally considered to be sweet and innocent. We picked up popular nursery rhymes, reimagined and reproduced them with a twist to drive our proposition home. With the help of abstract imagery and dark humour, a series of four posters was created which tickled the imagination of the artists, professionals as well as amateurs.
Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet
Plucking the wings off flies
Along came a giant spider
Trapped her and mauled her
Now six feet under she lies
Ding dong bell
Pussy's in the well
Who put her in?
Evil Tommy Thin
Who pulled her out?
Not poor Tommy Stout
Coz' he too drowned
Tied, gagged and bound
Baa baa black sheep
Have you any wool?
No sir, no sir, but you make me drool
Master was a lil' salty
Extra sweet was the dame
But you look just perfect
Like the little boy who lived down the lane
Jack & Bill went up the hill
To spend some time with each other
when Jill found out she cried aloud
And hacked them to death thereafter
