I have loved this project. The assignment was to create a public service announcement about the subject of your choice. I chose the humane society and dog adoption as a cause to support. I was to create a 3 pack of posters, a set that are thematically connected.

First, I did research, and went to the Humane society in Milpitas, a short drive from my house. I spent the afternoon there, and learned alot. 

The concept for these posters are related to political posters and an election year. The design is actually based on the 1960 presidential poster for JFK. 

The idea is to, first grab the attention of the viewer, with a catchy slogan and cute image. Then, have the viewer engage with the Humane Society by calling and booking an appoitnment, or by finding more information on social media.

I like the simple look.

I added a second mockup that I like. It has the feel of an actual paper poster, with wrinkles in the paper to give depth.

I did not go with this as my project. I liked the idea of it, and I may revisit it in the future. It was just too busy.
