In 2012, we were given a text written by high school students which we then illustrated. This was part of the "Get Real Project" which takes part every year at the University of Canberra. My text as evident above was an ABC for mathematics. It featured quite complex mathematical concepts but was to be for a primary school aged audience, making it quite challenging to illustrate. Regardless, I tackled the challenge and this is what I came up with. In the end, the book did quite well, and won 2nd place in the "Get Real" competition from about 100 or so entries.
